Cardboard and creativity!

Our rock troll sculptures (like most of our sculptures) begin with a flat cardboard Silhouette, crumpled newspaper and blue tape begins to bring shape to the 3-D structure, followed by a layer of papier-mâché. Spray foam insulation is added and carved into the detail shapes when cured. Finally, a coat of paper clay (toilet paper, PVA (white) glue and wall board gypsum mixed in a food processor) cover the sculpture and when dry get paint and clothes!

Trees are all made of paper, branches are wire covered in paper.

Icicles are strips of plastic heated with a heat gun (glorified hair dryer) and twisted.

Above it all are twinkling lights under a star canopy of Gossamer

Felt, Paper, cardboard, paint and a LOT of creativity can turn any room into an elegant throne room!
